KIDsBuild by BEEP Lab X Archifest 2018

Headed by Albert Liang from BEEP LAB and a group of volunteers from NAFA Landscape Architecture, Mark 12 Architects and KYX Architects at this year’s edition of KIDsBuild brings city building to children and families. Participants are given the opportunities to build with varieties of models making materials some of which are sponsored by Singapore Cartons during the event day. The hands-on workshop titled Heritage of Singapore introduces the foundations of city planning and encourages children to design with richness of Sngapore’s multi cultural heritage in mind.​ Encouraging public involvement, 140 children from the 5 participating Student Care Centres, along with caretakers, volunteers, urban planners and parents, will participate in the exhibition set-up at the Millenia Walk Great Hall. Members of the public will be able to create their own additions to the exhibition by building structures of their own on the spot and adding them to the ever-evolving installation.
