(14 Oct 2018) At the start of a three-day state visit to France, South Korean President Moon Jae-in attended a 'Korea-France friendship concert' in Paris on Sunday. Traditional Korean musicians performed during the concert, aimed at promoting cultural ties between the two countries. But the biggest applause went to the K-pop band, BTS, who made a special appearance fresh from a tour of the US. The hugely popular South Korean boy band, who are about to embark on their European tour, shook hands with President Moon Jae-in after their performance. President Moon Jae-in is on a four-nation tour of Europe and will also visit Italy, Belgium and Denmark.
