It was originally available exclusively on the Udemy platform, but after over a year of having it listed there with exactly 0 people taking the course during that time, I decided to close my account there and offer it as a free course here on my YouTube channel instead. After all, there's no point in having put all the time and care into creating this resource for people if nobody ever sees it. The course covers topics of formatting a manuscript, creating a simple book cover, and self-publishing using the Draft2Digital online publishing platform to major online book retailers like: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, and more. It goes into detail about each step that you need to follow, and explains the significance of each part of the process. Even if this is your first time trying anything like this, just take your time, follow the steps closely and you will be able to achieve good results. There are also optional sections of the course that you can use to get the most out of the tools and features at your disposal. All software, platforms, and tools that are used in the recommended techniques shown in this course are completely free to use. All you need is a PC with internet access that you can install free software onto. The only aspects of the overall process that this course does NOT cover are: What to actually write (that's up to you, the author) The process you need to follow to start your own business, which enables you to legally sell your books (it differs depending on your state or jurisdiction, it's well beyond the scope of this course, and I'm not a legal advisor) The audiobook creation process that Draft2Digital offers (because I've never done that myself, I can't teach someone else about it.) Aside from those, nearly everything else you could want and need is shown in these course videos, and everything is presented in steps that are easy to understand and follow, even if you aren't good with computers, or you've never tried any of these things before.
