FAK (first aid kits) come in all kinds of flavors and a good idea to keep at least a few items to "button yourself up" few bandages maybe some super glue basic stuff. A basic first aid course is a good idea IMO Lots of it is pretty self explanatory and anything that's not is best left up to medical professionals Also there are tons of "premade" FAKs out there They are a good start but nobody knows what you need but you. Build your own, inexpensive and can be as specific as you wish
