My friend Laura ‎@TheHalfassCrafter  was making tags this week and commented a couple of times about people not understanding why we cover backgrounds because as mixed media artists, we sometimes get asked that question. That inspired me to make this video demonstrating different backgrounds (including a blank one) with similar layering. It's to show why people prefer to start with a background and to show the differences between different background choices.
