How To Make A BB Machine Gun For $5 - Easy Hand Powered Airsoft Gun

This DIY airsoft design is one of my all time favorite projects. It's super inexpensive and can be put together in just a few minutes since it's only made from two parts! A pen tube could be substituted as the barrel to make the project even less expensive, though a little less accurate. As with all airsoft guns, eye protection is required for safety! The parts used in the video were a 24oz soda bottle and a 5/16” x 8” brake line (for the compact version), or a 5/16” x 28” brake line for the longer model. Brake lines are available at any auto parts store and usually cost between $4 - $7 depending on the length. So long as the diameter is 5/16" to properly fit pellets, any length can be used. There are endless possibilities for how this airsoft project could be customized if desired. I went with a pretty simple design with the PVC housing seen in the video. It's function was to simply improve aesthetics as well as add a more stable grip to the barrel. I know some of you will want to have the exact parts I used for the housing so I've listed them below. You can figure out the details of how it's assembled easily enough by pausing the video. The only modification needed for any of the parts is to drill a hole for the barrel through the end cap.
