A traditional recipe from Udupi @sampradaya Ingredients Required: 1 cup of Poha/Rice flakes 1 tsp Tamarind 1 tsp Turmeric 2 tsp of Jaggery 1 Cup of grated coconut 4-5 Dried Red Chillies 1 tsp Mustard 1 tsp Coconut oil 1 tsp Black Gram Dhal 1 tsp Channa dhal/Bengal gram dal A Pinch of Hing 1 Twig of Curry leaves 1 green chili Procedure : Step1: Wash and soak rice/poha for 30 mins and add 1tsp of Tamarind water, add 1 tsp of turmeric add 2 tsp of jaggery. Mix it well and keep it aside Step 2: Add one cup of grated coconut 1tsp of mustard and 4-5 dried red chilies to the mixer with a little water and grind it well Step 3: In a Tawa add one spoon of Coconut oil, 1 tsp of Mustard, 1 tsp Black gram dal, 1 tsp Channa dhal/Bengal gram dal, 1 Dried red chili, a pinch of hing, and let the mustard splutter. Add curry leaves and chili in the end. Step 4: Add the coconut paste and fry it on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
