Tommy Flanagan -- best known for portraying ‘Filip "Chibs" Telford’ on the venerable FX crime drama “Sons of Anarchy” (2008–2014) -- discusses his career, reveals funny behind-the-scenes stories and answers fan questions at his 2019 Toronto ComiCon panel. Tommy Flanagan (born July 3rd, 1965) is a Scottish actor who has first appeared in notable UK television series including "Screen One" (1992) and "Taggart" (1993). He worked in Robert Carlyle's Raindog Theatre for three years before being cast in "Braveheart" (1995) which launched his movie career. Flanagan went on to star in feature films such as "Face/Off" (1997), "The Game" (1997), "Sunset Strip" (2000), "Gladiator" (2000), "All About the Benjamins" (2002), "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" (2003), "Alien vs. Predator" (2004), "Sin City" (2005), "Smokin' Aces" (2006), "When a Stranger Calls" (2006), "The Last Drop" (2006), "Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball" (2010), "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." His other notable TV credits include "Attila" (2001), "Peaky Blinders" (2013), "Revenge" (2015), "Gotham" (2015) and "Motive" (2016). In July 2018, it was announced that Flanagan was cast in the series regular role of 'Alec McCullough' on the Netflix series "Wu Assassins" to be released in 2019.
