This is Part 1 of an in flight video of the Great Planes Revolver 60 ARF (almost ready to fly) radio control plane (RC Plane). I mounted an Apeman 80 action camera on the top of the plane. In this video the view is facing forward. In the next video, the camera is pointed at the tail section. My earlier videos about the Great Planes Revolver 60 were about my repair of the broken landing gear. The stock landing gear is poorly designed and very weak (check out those earlier videos on how I repaired the landing gear). I have been testing the new Dubro landing gear and in this video I cover the entire flight from engine start (Saito 91), taxi, takeoff, flight maneuvers such as rolls, loops, inverted flight, hammer stalls, landing approach and final landing. On my first landing attempt I was a little too low and decided to go around for another try. The second landing approach was much better and the plane landed with a few bounces, but overall good. The Dubro landing gear is very flexible and springy and the plane has a tendency to bounce, but after some practice, the landings are getting smoother. In my next video with the tail section view, my landing is smooth as glass. Flying this 60 class RC sport plane takes some practice. This plane is powered by an awesome Saito FA-91 glow engine. I have been building, flying, crashing, and repairing radio control planes for many years and enjoy sharing what I do with the radio control plane community. I fly with Futaba radio equipment, OS Max engines and Saito engines and typically run Morgan and Powermaster glow fuels. I fly ARF rc plane kits, but I also like to build rc plane kits. Lets keep RC plane kit building alive!
