Well first up we have the i20N, which is powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine to provide 204hp & 275Nm of torque. It also weighs in at 1,190kg. Alongside the Hyundai we have the Fiesta ST. Its smaller 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged engine puts down 200hp & 290Nm, and it’s a touch heavier than the i20N, with a weight of 1,255kg. Then finally we have the VW Polo GTI. It’s hiding a larger 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the bonnet, with a power output of 200hp & 320Nm. It’s also a bit heavier than its competitors, topping the scales at 1,335kg. So, which of these FWD hatchbacks will come out on top?
