Nick Hussey) Release Info: Promo & Distribution - http://strikeforce360media.com Following on from his huge 'The European Sun EP' on MUM, it's great to see Greg Fenton back with another superb release on the equally impressive new imprint - Channelled Recordings. This Manchester label has had 3 previous releases all of uncompromising quality and no.4 is here and yet again we are impressed by their style and substance. Greg Fenton's original mix of 'Night Porter' is a wonderfully deep and moody chugging groover and we're treated to remixes here from Mark Holmes (MUM/Sci+Tech/Sex On Wax) and London lads Joyce Brooke who are doing some very exciting things. Both mixes treat the original with respect and Mark Holmes as expected turns in a tightly produced and balanced remix focusing on and developing the musical elements and adding some deeeep bass along the way with effective builds and breaks. Joyce Brooke strip this back and turn in a mix in their own style taking influences from the emerging Bass scene and mixing it up with House sensibilities giving us something akin to 2 step in vibe... tasty! Also Greg Fenton has taken up remix duties on his own project and turned up the heat adding a driving synth lead which really pushes this into another dimension. To conclude this package we're treated to a 'reprise' featuring Nick Hussey on piano which provides the track with a wonderful atmosphere complementing and completing this release perfectly.   / channelledrecording     / strikeforce360
