This film contains references to suicide which some people may find to be triggering. 2013 Royal Television Society Award Winner - Best Factual Non Broadcast This powerful new film about the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) was produced by Tyneside Mind in collaboration with their service users, whose experiences of the WCA are represented in the film by actors. Many people find the process of going through the WCA difficult and distressing, and this is very much reflected in the representation of the process in the film. The fact that so many people continue to find the WCA process so stressful, insensitive, inaccurate and unfair shows that we need urgent reform. We want as many people as possible to see this film, so that we can increase the pressure for changes to be made. The film was produced in partnership with Helix Arts and Meerkat Films and was assisted by a grant from the Millfield House Foundation.
