Hello Everyone! Welcome back to my channel. This video shows the full build of the Academy 1/48th scale IL-2m3 "Battle of Berlin" Sturmovik. This kit is actually a reboxing of the Accurate Miniatures kit first tooled in 1997. I enjoyed building this kit, but Accurate Miniatures kits have some strange engineering (some would say "over-engineered"). Take your time, test fit parts, and you will have a nice completed model! The decals gave me a few issues as they liked to "curl" under themselves when applying. I strongly suggest that you download/print from Scalemates the instructions for the AM kit. The Academy instructions included in this kit lack detail or narrative that you get with the AM instructions even though the steps and part numbers are identical.
