Six months ago, my grandfather passed away. It was a rather surreal moment because he had been going for the last 97 years. He seemed invincible. However, eventually, the years took their toll on him, and much like we all have to do in the end, he succumbed. This left me to reflect on what he gave me throughout his life. The lessons he taught me. I came to realize that when someone comes to the end of their days, it's better to celebrate their life and the impact they had on you rather than mourning them too much.
