Do you feel stuck? Do events always seem to “happen to you”? Karma is often misunderstood in the West as an invisible reward–punishment system. Yet in Eastern wisdom, karma is less about what happens to us and more about how we think, intend, and act. In Sanskrit, the word “karma” simply means “action,” and these actions span mental, emotional, and physical dimensions. In this video, we explore karma not as a passive result of fate, but as a powerful tool for conscious creation. Vedanta and Buddhist teachings approach karma not as a linear chain, but as a living network of interactions. Modern science points to a similar principle: every action creates change in the system, and energy and information never disappear. The observer effect in quantum physics reveals a surprising parallel to this ancient insight. Wherever the mind directs itself, life tends to flow in that direction. Karma is therefore not a chain of the past, but a mirror of the present moment; your level of awareness determines how you relate to the traces left by previous actions. In this video, we approach the concept of karma through consciousness, ethics, and awareness—not fear or superstition. We do not treat it as a system that punishes, but as a life principle that can be consciously used as one comes to know oneself.
