A sunny Sunday and no reason no to run more trains having temporary fixed the issue where one section of the layout was shorting out. A good chance to test GWR 5199 as I have replaced the motor, gearbox and it has new shoes all around from Slaters. The Ellis Clark Trains Black 5 just does what is sais on the tin, running with all fitted freight displaying the correct headcode. During the winter months I made some changes to the lamps and added little sockets on the running board where a spare lamp can be plugged in. The Minerva Model Railways GWR 56xx just ran happily around with a rake of 16t coal wagons, no complaints.
