Mark Adlington – Lion – The Documentary

Lion is the result of a three year project by Mark Adlington to study lions in six different habitats across Eastern and Southern Africa. The result is a superb series of paintings, drawings and sketchbooks representing months of patient work and careful observation giving him a unique insight into the lives of this most beautiful of big cats. The exhibition coincides with the publication of a book of the work with written contributions from frontline conservationists whose help and support made the project possible. Lion is being held in collaboration with Pride Lion Conservation Alliance and will benefit their important work in safeguarding the future of the species. The exhibition will be held at John Martin Gallery from the 10th - 28th May 2021.
