In this video, I’m sharing my upper body workouts from 2023 that helped me work toward my goal of benching 225 lbs. I’m not an expert — this is just what worked for me — but I hope it can help anyone on their own journey. Bench Press: Built my chest, shoulders, and triceps strength to push heavier weight. Skull Crushers: Helped me grow my triceps and improve pressing power. Arm Pit Bicep Curls: Targeted my biceps for stronger, more defined arms. Barbell Bicep Curls: Built size and strength in my biceps. Dumbbell Bench Press: Increased chest and triceps activation with a fuller range of motion. Shoulder Shrugs: Strengthened my traps for better posture and stability. Incline Dumbbell Press: Focused on my upper chest and shoulders for a balanced chest. Dumbbell Flys: Isolated my chest for better muscle definition. Dips: Built chest, shoulders, and triceps using bodyweight. Farmer Carries: Strengthened grip, traps, and core while improving overall stability. Bench Press from Start Position: Helped me develop explosive power off the chest.
