In this post, I am going to show you a quick tutorial on how to add a Drop Shadow to a logo or image using Inkscape. We have talked about Inkscape before. However, sometime you may want to add a little bit of an extra ‘pop’ for your logo. A Drop Shadow is an easy way to achieve this. Adding a drop shadow in Inkscape is as easy as: 1. Selecting the image 2. Going to Filters - Shadows and Glows - Drop Shadow This should be easily achieved when working with a vector image. You may have to do a bit of cropping if the image has a background.
