According to reports, MP AGRO was made the nodal agency for executing schemes for farmers. However, rather than direct transfer of funds to farmers to enable them buy agricultural equipments under the farm mechanisation scheme of the Centre, the funds were transferred to a private company. Farmers were instead provided with sub-standard equipment which our reporter Anurag Dwari inspected and found to be of inferior quality and of no use to the farmers.
