True Life in God - " The Root is God ", Russia - 2017

Vassula's last speech that took place during the 11th True Life in God Ecumenical Pilgrimage in Russia - 2017. " I want to thank each one for having joined us here and participated in this pilgrimage. And it was an honor to receive also the newcomers here and let us give an applaud for them. The ten pilgrimages before this one were basically, mainly talks about church unity and not really interfaith. From the beginning of this year, especially January and February, the Lord suddenly opened a door and made a bigger step forward. Because what I learned from the Lord, from now 32 years that He’s been giving us the messages, talking to us and guiding me , the Lord goes you know very in order and doesn’t rush. He prepares the people, He prepares the person and He prepared me to go a big (step) forward. He said to me from the beginning that I should never get out myself and look for invitations to be going to speak anywhere. He said '' I shall bring the people all the way to your doorstep. Meaning that for every invitation you get, this person is sent by Me.'' And that is how I worked for 32 years. I obeyed God completely, whatever it is. I had invitations to go to Lebanon, i had invitations in February, to go to Syria. My family said '' Are you crazy ? To go where there is war? You can be blown up. '' I said: " I don’t care, I don’t care ! " When God opens my way and I know it comes from Him, I go forward. Why should I fear if the Lord sends me there. Who is greater than Him? He’s our protector, our shield, our rock so why should I be afraid? And I went. I was invited by the Muslim guests you have here, by these people I have been invited. If you just die to your prejudices, die to your... you know all these things that block us to realize God's plan, that God is for all His creation. It's not a selected lot and the rest is swept away, no way, no way. In my mission I am guided by Jesus to go the steps that I’m doing. I’m not running ahead of Jesus because He told me: " Don’t run in front of Me and don’t be right behind Me far away. I want you to be at the same pace as I am, following Me, not going forward not going to be too much in the back." For 32 years I am doing this and as you know the message has taken root in many of the hearts of the people, it changed the lives, all these blockages were swept away. Jesus said to me one day: " Never let anything discourage you, if peace does not come right away for have you ever heard of a country born in one day? As the earth makes fresh things grow, as the garden makes seeds spring up, so will your Creator make both integrity and peace spring up, in the sight of all the nations when your prayers will reach Him. All the branches of a tree are holy, if the root is holy. Know that some of the branches have been cut off and like shoots of white olive you have been grafted among the rest to share with them the rich sap provided by the olive tree itself, but still, even if you think yourself superior to the other branches, remember that you do not support the root, it is the root that supports you and the root is divine, the root is God."
