This Car Is Currently For Sale!!! Big Block Chevy Third Gen Camaro Build Part 3 ( Final Assembly, Garage Tuning, Street Rips, Finished Product and Drag Strip Rip ) Garage Tuning: 6:31 Street Rips: 15:34 Finished Product: 18:53 Drag Strip: 21:23 This is the Final Video of a 3 part video series. The build has been complete for a year now. I am just now getting around to making the videos. This build was not documented in super detail. I will show what I can with what I have. Otherwise feel free to ask any questions about the build, I will be happy to answer them. The car is a 1987 IROC Z-28 Camaro. The engine is a chevy 454 bored .030". The build is what i would consider mild and reliable. There are no dyno numbers on this build. But the math puts it roughly around 500 Horsepower and 500 Torque. Compression ratio of 10:1. Body/Frame is tied. All front suspension is stock for the exception of weight jacks.. Lowered springs in rear. Rear end is still a 10 bolt. Rear end was supposedly upgraded by previous owner. I had no reason to open it up and I keep forgetting to check the ratio. I believe it to be 4.10:1 or around. This project was fun. There were plenty of hurtles along the way putting a big block in a third generation Camaro. But we overcame them, and in the end we are satisfied with the result. I hope that you enjoy the video. Good luck with all your future endeavors my friend!
