It is located in the center of Korea, 128km(80mi.) from the capital of Korea, Seoul. It is only 2 to 3 hours away from Busan Metropolitan City, Gwangju Metropolitan City, the two major Metropolitan Cities of Southeast and Southwest Korea respectively, by land transportation, and an hour away from Jeju Island, the major tourism and resort city in Southernmost part of Korea, by flight.
