Immersed in the NY club scene from the late seventies, his selection of music at Downtown Records (1979 - 1985) influenced the dance music community in a pivotal way. After a long hiatus Joe started Range Music NYC in 2019 to bring back the magic of new music on vinyl for DJ’s, audiophiles and afficionados. “I am always excited to hear younger people playing the music I introduced back in the eighties but it’s the ones that seek out the new and present the next wave of “classics” that impress me the most”.
