2024 South Australian Pro Wrestling Hall Of Fame Saturday November 2nd Greenwith Community Centre Introducing the Inductees: AXEL IMPACT Axel Impact started his career at the early age of 17 years old. In 2009 he was trained at the Snakepit Academy, mostly by John E Radic, Zak Sabbath and Mike Boomer. He was known as the Golden Boy, due to his natural talent, charisma and athleticism but mostly for the simple fact that he was a pleasure to be around. Axel started his career as a referee and had his debut match against Zak Sabbath in October 2009. Two months after his debut, he won his first Snakepit / PWSA Championship from Ace Wilson in a Four Way Ladder match in December 2009. From there, Axel would become one of the most popular wrestlers in South Australia by becoming the leader of a fan movement called "AXEL'S ARMY". He would win the Snakepit Championship two more times. He also won the Tag Team titles three times (with Blue Blood x 2 / Joe Mundie) before having a retirement match against Mike Boomer in June of 2012. The retirement didn't last long as the call of the ring would persuade Axel to make mini comebacks every once in a while. His most recent comeback was from 2019 to 2021, which saw him become the PWSA Champion and on top of the local wrestling world once again. Axel has left an impact on both those in the wrestling business and the fans. The list of wrestlers he has shared the ring with is a who's who of SA Wrestling. Names like John E Radic, Acid Haze, Zak Sabbath, Mike Boomer, Ace Wilson, Jimmy Scarlett, Blue Blood, The Basso Brothers, Rocky Menero and Bronson Reed. Axel's career has been a remarkable one and worthy of being inducted into the 2024 South Australian Hall of Fame. He will be inducted by the man whom he debuted against, The Dark King - Zak Sabbath!
