Krefeld 1758. A wargame in 42mm

The Battle of Krefeld was fought in the Seven Years War. The campaign was played using map movements with the French and allied German armies starting in their historical locations After this players were free to move ahistorically.  The results of the map moves were transferred onto the tabletop. The game was played using 42 mm EW Baylis toy soldiers. The rules used were my own set written for the horse and musket period. A modified set was used to play the twin Rome games set in 1849. The rules emphasise ease of play and and allow for resolution of a large battle over the duration of a seven hour, one day, game.
