Instagram Tantrik Scam: Fraudster Arrested in Rajasthan | India Today

New Delhi DCP Devesh Kumar Mahla comments on the arrest of a cyber-fraudster who posed as a ‘tantrik’ to dupe people on Instagram. He says, the accused (Rahul) created a fake ID on Instagram, Facebook and in which he had used the name of an Aghori Baba, in whom people in Rajasthan have faith. Using the same name, he created his fake ID, and when people have family or personal issues, search for solutions to their problems, he used to get in touch with them. He also used to give his advertisements and used to tell that there are evil spirits in their house or someone has done a spell; we will get a puja done for them, and the problems will be cleared. He used to cheat people by taking advantage of these emotions... He used to get some videos from people, get Reiki done around their house, and then edit that video. He used to show something in it... He used to send that photo back to the people, in which he used to show them something like a ghost or evil spirits... We arrested him in Rajasthan.
