Educating the public on traffic safety is an important part of Mayor Bowser’s Vision Zero DC plan because infrastructure improvements alone will not reduce fatalities and serious injuries. In order to protect pedestrians, bicyclists, and scooterists, it is important to abide by the rules of the road. This 12-minute educational video, developed by The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations and Infrastructure, explains those rules.
