Twister to Tower 6 to Showcase is an intermediate ski run located at Gore Mountain. The trails run from the Saddle Lodge, down to the main base area and the bottom of the Adirondack Express II chairlift. The trail begins to the left of the top of the chairlift and is the second left-hand turn after the Saddle Lodge. Twister is a fun trail that makes multiple turns and features multiple small dips. Eventually, I exited the trail to the right onto Tower 6, a short connector that connects the end of Twister to the bottom portion of Showcase, which runs straight underneath the bottom of the Adirondack Express II until it reaches the main base area. Gore Mountain is a ski area located in North Creek, New York. The ski area is located in the Adirondacks Park in Eastern Upstate New York in Northern Warren County. Gore is located about a 30-minute drive northwest of Lake George, a 1h 30min drive north of Albany, and about a 4-hour drive north of New York City. Gore is known for its vast variety of terrain, spread across multiple mountain areas, comprising the largest ski area in the State of New York. The Northwoods Area, located above the main base area, comprises a large variety of fun groomers and terrain parks; the Topridge Area features a few intermediate and advanced trails; the Straight Brook Area features some of Gore's most famous terrain with some trails such as The Rumor and Lies being some of New York's most difficult ski trails, the High Peaks area which features primarily intermediate terrain off of the summit of Gore Mountain; the North Side which features fun and narrow beginner and intermediate trails; the Burnt Ridge Area, known for its long gladed runs; and the North Creek Ski Bowl Area, which serves terrain near the town of North Creek. The ski area is owned by the State of New York and operated by the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) and is therefore on the Ski3 Pass, which also includes access to Whiteface and Belleayre.
