Though we don’t see those events in the Dragon Ball Super manga just assume it’s basically the same as the movie. Goku and Vegeta are training and talking about never fighting together again and doing all the other flirting you’d expect. Vegeta asks about Ultra Instinct but Goku says he hasn’t been able to use it a single time since the Tournament of Power. Their date gets interrupted by a call from Mr. Satan. Buu is being kidnapped so he needs Goku and Vegeta’s help. Goku tells Vegeta he’ll teleport them over, but Vegeta acts like a tsundere and says he’ll just fly there himself. Goku arrives first and handles the kidnappers. Vegeta gets there shortly after, but lets Goku handle it. One of the kidnappers hears Mr. Satan say Goku and Vegeta. He knows who they are and proceeds to effortlessly speed blitz both of them. Defeating them both with a stun gun. He tells the others to take Goku and Vegeta as well so with that, the kidnappers leave Earth. Find out what happens next in the video! A brief introduction to the Granolah Arc: This is the arc with Ultra Ego Vegeta, True Ultra Instinct Goku, Granolah, and Gas! The Granolah Arc starts right after the Moro Arc. The head of the Android 7-3 survived the death of Moro and is taken from Earth by the original owners of the Android. The data in OG 7-3 is copied into other OG units meaning they’ve gained all the capabilities of the one our heroes fought on Earth. Bad news because this guy wants to rule the Universe. Even worse, an intruder is trying to steal 7-3 again. This is Granolah. He has an AI companion named Oatmeel and they’re trying to take OG 7-3. They make they’re way through all of the soldiers and even other OG models until they find 73 being regenerated in a tank. They’ve got him. Flash back to the past. Freeza’s forces - specifically Saiyans - the frightening silhouettes of Oozaru conquering a world of people that look just like Granolah. Before we can learn more Granolah wakes up. This nightmare is a recurring one for him. Granolah and Oatmeel discuss his hatred for Freeza and his lust for revenge. Granolah despises Freeza’s army - even though he thinks Freeza is dead - for ordering the attack on his people. Clearly news of Freeza’s second revival after the Tournament of Power is not widely known throughout the Universe yet. Possibly even more than Freeza, he hates the Saiyans, but they were wiped out over 40 years ago. Granolah has no way to seek his revenge no matter how much he desires it. Meanwhile, over on Beerus’ Planet Goku is helping Whis give the Oracle Fish her medicine. Apparently the Oracle Fish has been having insomnia and that can be a bad omen for the future, but it could also be nothing.
