A panel at the 2021 At What Point Managed Retreat conference: In a quickly warming world with climate risks becoming existential, considerations for strategic retreat are seeing heightened attention in popular debate, implementation & policy. Inter-and transdisciplinary research interacting with practice is also increasingly turning to the issue providing relevant and innovative inroads into science, policy & practice debates, acknowledging that this is not a technical or a bureaucratic issue alone.
