This TV doesn't turn on. One SMD transistor model# IPD50R380 on the PSU board BN44-00787A is shorted. After replacing the transistor the maximum LED current the board can supply will be lowered from 410mA to 310mA to decrease the risk of damage to the LEDs. The transistor and resistor can be obtained here: https://www.digikey.com/product-detai... https://www.digikey.com/product-detai... In this TV it wasn't necessary to replace any LEDs but if you feel like checking for shorted LEDs or if the transistor blows up again you need to disassemble the screen like in this video: • Samsung 58 inch TV dead, no power (Pa... and then either replace whole strips or individual LEDs.
