My name is Dr. William Vinyard and I'm a board-certified plastic surgeon and I practice in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, which is on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Facetite is a minimally invasive procedure thatis completed in the office under local anesthetic. It is a procedure that takes about an hour to perform. We're able to remove some of the excess fatty tissue along the jaw line below the chin and the double chin area and better define the jaw line. The radio frequency will cause the skin to actually remodel itself and become more youthful. This procedure has really opened up and filled a gap that was there for facial rejuvenation. Before having this technology you either had to have a facelift procedure for facial rejuvenation, which was surgical and had some downtime. Or you would have non-surgical means such as fillers to try to fill in the lines and creases of the face that was indicative of facial aging. So, the social downtime is approximately one to two weeks of swelling, but you have a physical downtown of maybe one day. There's really no discomfort after the procedure. The technology is very smart. The procedure is relatively easy to perform in the in the office compared to some of the other complex procedures that I performed, but the results are dramatic. It's amazing to me that we can do something in the office that's giving that great of a result that quickly.
