Welcome to Cook Kooc Kuk! 🌿 In today’s video, we are cooking Big Red Crab Curry in a beautiful mangrove forest, following a traditional village-style cooking method using simple ingredients and natural surroundings. 🦀 Step-by-Step Cooking Process: Crab Catching Big red saltwater crabs are carefully caught from the mangrove forest using hands. Cleaning & Boiling The crabs are washed properly and boiled in a large steel pot with water, salt, and turmeric to remove impurities. Ingredient Preparation Fresh coconut is grated Green chilies and turmeric are ground Onions and tomatoes are chopped Mustard oil and village spices are prepared Cooking the Masala Mustard oil is heated on a clay stove. Coconut paste, onions, and tomatoes are added and cooked slowly to make a rich village-style masala. Adding Crabs Boiled big red crabs are added to the masala and mixed well. Coconut Water Magic Fresh tender coconut water is poured into the curry to enhance flavor naturally. Slow Cooking The pot is covered and the curry is slow-cooked on a wood fire until perfectly done. Serving with Love The crab curry is served with hot rice on sal leaf plates to poor children, elderly people, and women in the village.
