How I made a COAT out of THRIFTED TEXTILES. DIY 8$ sewing project by a homemaker

Hi, I am Vita, the crafty homemaker! I love to change up my look, but not so much spend a lot of money on clothing. I don't believe in chasing fashion and new collections since it changes so fast, I literally could not catch up with a fast fashion industries. I like sustainability. I thrifted a lot of nice textiles on a 50% sale and now I can experiment and try to make something I haven't before. This coat is the ultimate experiment. I have never made a coat before, I did not use a pattern, I just figured it out. It is more fun that way... to me at leased :) I think It turned out to be a fantastic coat! for 8$, few hours time and a lot of fun. I am not a professional tailor, I am a homemaker and self taught sewing loving kinda gal. I share my creative thought process along the way and I hope You will appreciate it. Love and Peace!
