Learn this exciting masking tape technique and turn your canvas painting into an extraordinary piece of home décor. It’s simple, fun and creates a stunning effect! Things you need: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Crimson, Pink, Salmon Pink, Maroon, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic - Gold, Fine Art Canvas, Fine Art Brushes, Pair of Scissors, Prime Eezy Tear Tape, Ruler, Pencil, Eraser, Colour Palette, Water Container, Tissue Paper Step 1: Mark the horizontal centre of the canvas and then mark a spot at 10 cm from the bottom with the ruler. Step 2: Then make markings at a gap of 1.5 cm on either side of both the lines. Step 3: Join the four dots to make a diamond shape. Step 4: Similarly make another diamond bordering the first one with a 1.5 cm gap. Step 5: Now stick Prime Eezy Tear Tape along the lines drawn. Step 6: Once the tape has been stuck on all 4 sides, draw another diamond. Step 7: Repeat this process till the entire canvas has been covered. Step 8: Draw random triangles in the area between the taped lines. Step 9: Take Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – Crimson, Salmon Pink, Maroon and Pink, and Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour – Gold. Step 10: Paint each triangle with a different colour. We have used 4 colours here in gradation/alternating pattern. Step 11: Make sure to apply two coats to get an even finish. Step 12: Repeat the process till all triangles have been painted and leave it to dry. Step 13: Once dry, remove the tapes off the canvas carefully. Step 14: Then erase all the pencil lines. Step 15: Take Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Gold Step 16: Outline all the edges with even gold lines. Apply two coats for a smooth finish. Step 17: Tada!
