Consult NSCA CSCS Detailed Content Outline 2. Prepare: Study the Detailed Content Outline to understand test coverage. Seek advice from successful examinees or join the Strength and Conditioning Study Group on Facebook. 3. Register: Complete online registration on the NSCA website for exams at Pearson VUE testing centers globally. 4. Study: Read NSCA's Essentials of Strength and Conditioning 4th edition (print version recommended). Consider The Movement System CSCS Study Course as an additional resource. 5. CSCS Test: Ensure adequate sleep (7-8 hours) before the exam. Arrive at least 30-45 minutes early. Bring snacks and drinks for breaks (not allowed in the exam room).
