A question was asked on the Just Learning Bernina V8 FB group. They did not have a TT font to work with - only a vector graphic of the lettering that needed to be digitized. They were able to convert the image to embroidery, but the stitch direction was lacking. Someone suggested breaking the letters apart and applying stitch directions. The break-apart tool will not work in this example, as that is for lettering. By using the knife tool, and adding stitch directions, the image began to look more like an embroidery font. Now! the long time digitizers will tell you that creating the font from scratch would have been a better way to go with this. You will find many great videos to teach you how to digitize letters from scratch. Spend some valuable time at your computer screen watching fonts stitch that have been digitized by masters. The lettering fonts included in your software are a good place to start.
