The Green Hotel Palace or Chittaranjan Palace is a lesser known palace at Mysore that was originally built for a Mysore’s princess of Royal family. Chittaranjan Palace was built by the Maharaja of Mysore for his sister in 1916. The palace was sold to a Mysorean family who then converted it into the headquarters of a film company, “premier Studios”. It presently houses the “Green. Hotel”. It is a small hotel with 31 rooms to choose from. Standard prices before tax range from approx 3k to 8k. And is 4km from Railway Museum, 6km from the 1912 Mysore Palace and 7km from Mysore Zoo.
