Combining live-action and CGI through a COMFY-UI–based AI workflow, exploring hybrid cinema and AI-driven visual storytelling. -- Synopsis: "Mortal Kombat: Lost Tape", is a short film set in New York City during the Christmas season. A woman brings a malfunctioning VCR to a local technician. Inside the machine, a videotape is jammed. Once repaired, the technician plays the tape and discovers a previously unseen VHS titled "Mortal Kombat: Blood for Blood". "Blood for Blood", is a fictionalized Mortal Kombat pilot, imagined as an unreleased project created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, the original creators of the franchise. Within this film-within-a-film, the Tenth Mortal Kombat Tournament is about to begin. An act of sabotage disrupts Shao Kahn’s forces, pushing him into a ruthless campaign to secure victory. In the chaos, a warrior of Earthrealm is killed and must be resurrected.
