We make our trek across the Pacific Ocean from Gunnison to Kona airport on the island of Hawaii! Our first leg was an early start with a near miss at the airport, followed by a 3 hour layover in Denver, Voodoo donuts and then our 7 hour epic journey from Denver to Kona Airport. We arrive in a rainstorm, get some groceries, check out our amazing AirBnb rental at the Fairway Villas and have a fantastic first dinner at Lava Lava Beach Club! Lake City, Colorado is the only incorporated town in Hinsdale County, Colorado - the most remote county in the continental United States! This channel explores our adventures in Lake City as we explore it’s natural beauty, demonstrate our off-grid living in our cabins including our solar set-up and gravity fed water system, and also as well adventure away from Lake City to other destinations including our happy place - Walt Disney World!
