S04E08 Sleeping Giant Provincial Park Review

This is park #3 on our three week, seven park camping trip to Lake Superior. This is the furthest park from home on this trip and we spent 4 nights there. The Sleeping Giant can been seen from Thunder Bay. The campground is on Marie Louise Lake which is a nice warm lake compared to Lake Superior. The park is large and has many hiking trails to do that you can drive to. Hiking the Sleeping Giant itself is the main attraction at this park. Cheryl checked off her bucket list, hiking to the Top of the Giant. It was a grueling hike but she did it! We also kayaked and paddle boarded in Marie Louise Lake. We visited Silver Islet which is 4 km south of the park at the tip of the Sibley Peninsula. It is a great park and we loved it! So much to do and so many trails, you could spend a lot of time at this park. In our next video we'll be staying at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park for 3 nights. On the way to Rainbow Falls we'll be stopping at Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park to explore the Canyon.
