Madison Blue Springs - The Cross Under Tunnel

This video shows one of the less dived tunnels of Madison Blue. The first part of the Cross Under normally has visibility in the 40-50 ft range. Also, the water is cooler (69F) than the main tunnels of Madison (72F). This is because the left branch of the Cross Under has a different water source that the rest of the cave. The right branch of the Cross Under eventually connects with the main conduit of the cave known as the Courtyard, Badlands and Aquaduct. This part of the Cross Under has visibility in the 80 ft range with a negligible current. This right branch of the Cross Under is very silty with a fine layer on the walls and ceiling. One's exhaust bubbles will dislodge quite a bit of silt, not to mention the silt kicked up from just moving through the tunnel.
