Today we travel to Oloitoktok in Kajiado County to meet Ernest, a man who made a bold decision to step away from city life and intentionally build a slower, quieter way of living. What started as bare land has, over the last five years, grown into a home and a lifestyle rooted in peace, simplicity, and connection to nature. In this episode of Slow, Intentional and Conscious Living, he walks us through his journey ,the challenges of starting from scratch, the lessons he’s learnt along the way, and what it has really taken to build a home in the countryside. We talk about what life looks like for him at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, why he chose this environment, and how living closer to nature has changed his relationship with food, land, and time.
