MAC Tools 4lb ANTIVIBE Sledgehammer Review | My New Favorite Hammer?

This is my review of the Mac tools 4lb antivibe sledgehammer. I got this off my MAC dealer on sale when it appeared on Mac Flyer 1 for 2024. It was $40 off from the original price. This 4lb sledge hammer has the Stanley Antivibe technology which dampens vibration feedback using a tuning fork, shock dampeners and torque stabilizing bars. This hammer has easily become my favorite sledgehammer at this size and really works as intended. The vibration feedback is almost minimal and is not that unpleasant shock that crawls up your bones especially when hitting metal on metal. I usually recommend cheaper non truck tools for new mechanics but sometimes deals like this make sense for the product being sold maybe exclusive to a certain brand. Making use of sales is usually the best way to get higher quality tools for cheap. However, I've said this before and I'll say it again, you don't need big name brand tools to be a good mechanic. If you don't use a tool all that much, it does not warrant you spending hundreds of dollars on a big name brand tool. I use sledgehammers a lot so this was a no brainer for me.
