"Recuerdos de la Alhambra" F. Tarrega | played by Hekar Rivera

This is my favorite classical guitar piece, it's a musical representation of the magnificent palace of "Alhambra" in Granada, Spain which was previously built and occupied by the Moorish empire until Spain overthrew them in 1492. It is believed that the composer's idea was to write this song representing what the former moorish king must have felt as he was being forced to surrender such a magnificent palace. And the melody representing how he wept for the loss of his empire and his beautiful palace, as well as remembering it. I've known this piece for quite some time now and it has come to have a very personal meaning, mostly of very fond memories represented by the images included on this video.
