Alrighty fellow Travel Dons, it is time to say say hello to Costa Rica! Mexico was an amazing 5 weeks of my life. However, it's time to move on. In this video I was invited to a traditional Costa Rican (Tico) Christmas Eve by a local family in Cartago! Then on Christmas Day head up to Irzau Volcano! We start off in the middle of San Jose for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast dish called Gallo Pinto. Next we move up into the mountains to spend Christmas Eve in the Cartago province at the home of my friend Natalia and her family. In Costa Rica the big family day around Christmas time is actually on Christmas Eve. Finally we spend Christmas Day a top the Irazu Volcano in Cartago, Costa Rica.
