Slide Brook Express is a four-person high-speed detachable chairlift at Sugarbush Resort, VT. This is currently the longest chairlift in the world, at over 11,000 feet long! It stretches across the beautiful and untouched Slide Brook Basin, travelling through multiple uphills and downhills, and connects the two mountains of Sugarbush - Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen. On the Lincoln side, the lift starts halfway up North Lynx Peak and at the top of the Gate House Express Quad; and at the Ellen side, it starts at the base of the North Ridge Express Quad. This video was recorded on the first weekend of this lift operating in almost TWO YEARS due to snow, covid, staff, and other operational issues! This was my first time ever riding this lift, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I really hope they can run this more, because this infamous lift is something else.
