This video covers how to tame Gara the Spirit Beast in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, with step by step directions and tips. Taming this Spirit Beast is different than the other Spirit Beasts. You don't just go up to it, hope to get lucky and tame it. You need to follow a sort-of hidden questline, that only Beast Mastery Hunters can follow. Every single Hunter can get this pet, it will take a few hours. To tame Gara I would recommend being level 100. It is possible to do it without being the max level, but it does make it significantly easier. Good gear may help, but this is also not mandatory. Doing this series of quests will take you all over Draenor. Having most of the flight paths unlocked is a big advantage. The first step is to talk to Gara, and to gather Shadowberries from Mother Om'ra. After this step you need to go all over Draenor and collect the following items, to create the Spirit Effigy: Crude Effigy (dropped by Drywind Bonepickers in Gorgrond), Wooden Bowl (dropped by Gorebound Legionnaires in Talador), Elder Insence (dropped by Sethekk Prophets in the Spires of arakk), Small Fruit (dropped by Warsong Marauders in Nagrand), Torn Cloth (dropped by Necrophytes in Frostfire Ridge) and an Ancient Bone (dropped by Thunderlord Giantslayers in Frostfire Ridge). Next it is time to free Mother Om'ra and then shift into the Void by collecting the Void Lantern and right clicking the Voidblade in the middle of Shadowmoon Valley.
