It draws hot air balloon pilots from all over the nation, and has been voted the #1 event in Marathon County. During the day balloons color the sky, and at night they glow in vibrant hues! There’s also a professional lumberjack show, car show, entertainment and fabulous food. Tucked in the Wisconsin Northwoods, just outside of Rhinelander, is the Hodag Country Festival. It has featured some of the top acts in Country Music since 1978. The festival is noted for its centrally-located camping, its friendly spirit and unique, beloved traditions. Winterfest in Lake Geneva is the winter party of the year! It has hosted the US National Snow Sculpting Championship for 28 years. Spectators can observe the artistic process up close and vote for their favorite design. As always, you can find entertainment, great food, an ice sculpture tour and more throughout this festive community.
